Adventurous Culinary Cake Flavors
Tasting Table, THE WED and The Knot all landed on the same call for 2026: the wedding cake has graduated from sugary sponge to fine-dining final course. The flavors leading the year read like a tasting menu — matcha, yuzu, black sesame, Earl Grey and honey, miso-caramel, even olive oil and rosemary. The new rule, as one pastry editor put it, is simple: the inside has to be as memorable as the outside.
That shift feels right at home at The Roost Lodge.
